A Boutique Mint, Where Craftsmanship Comes First
Intaglio Mint is a privately held American mint focused on quality, detail, and craftsmanship above all else. Rather than mass-producing generic bullion, we create collectible rounds with depth, character, and precision — all backed by hands-on manufacturing experience since 2010.
Our work commemorates events, places, and historical remembrances — some commissioned by collectors and institutions, some struck for our own collections. Each piece is conceived, designed, and produced in the tradition of the great American mints, in editions small enough that every coin earns its place.
The Full Process Happens Here
Every stage of production takes place in our Ozark, Missouri facility. From design and die engraving to striking and finishing, our team manages the minting process entirely in-house to ensure exceptional quality and consistency in every piece.
Metals. We strike .999 fine copper, .999 fine silver, and .9999 fine gold. Silver and gold blanks are cast and rolled in our shop. Copper blanks are produced for us by American suppliers to our specification.
Die work. Designs are sculpted and cut on our own lasers in-house by our sister company, Die Vault, LLC. Dies are hand-finished to the satin standard that produces our house Brilliant Uncirculated surface.
Striking. Coins are struck on our presses, one piece at a time, under the eye of the same person who cut the die.
Finishing and packaging. Inspected, finished, and packaged by hand. Shipped from our facility.
The mint’s manufacturing operation is ISO 9001 certified — scope: manufacture of precious metal and base metals for the investment bullion market.
