Description
The famous “Washlady” design by Charles Barber.
- Contains 2 oz. Troy of .999 Fine Silver
- Obverse: A portrait of Liberty faces to the left with her hair tied up behind her head. She has a headband inscribed LIBERTY, and her hair is adorned by wheat and cotton. Above is the motto IN GOD WE TRUST and below is the date with seven stars to the left and six stars to the right.
- Reverse: An eagle holding an olive branch and three arrows. The statutory legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA follows the border with the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, in smaller letters, in the field. The denomination TWO OUNCES is below. Struck in silver with a reeded edge.
