Considered one of the most beautiful and iconic designs in American coinage, the Winged Liberty, commonly called the Mercury Dime, is rendered as a compliment to that design in this 2 ounce Silver round.
- Contains 1 oz. Troy of .999 Fine Silver
- Obverse: Winged Liberty Head surrounded by “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST” below the portrait. Key Dated 1916
- Reverse: The Fasces, a symbol of collective power, is flanked by “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” above, and “ONE DIME” below, as well as “E PLURIBUS UNUM” in the field. Complementing the Key date of 1916 with a “D” mint mark. Hallmarked “One Troy Ounce .999 AG” along the blade of the ax in Microprinting.

These 1 oz-t Merc. dimes are AMAZING – BEAUTIFUL – FLAWLESS! I thought they’d look cool, based on the pictures here, but now that I see them and am holding one in my own hand — it’s stunningly beautiful. The font is just right, the winged liberty looks like the perfect version of itself. And I really like the frosted finish of the coin. I’m not sure if the planchet or the dies give it that finish, but it is about as perfect as it could be. Honestly, it is BETTER than the US Mint. I’m addicted! I also bought the 50mm 2 oz-t and the high-relief 39mm 2 oz-t versions, and each of them is seriously stunning! These are my new favorite rounds – and it’s not even close! I bought 10 and they make me really, really happy!
