Description

Washington Success Medals came in two different sizes with either plain or reeded edges, and made from either brass or copper.  They bore no date, but were believed to have been produced around 1795.  If the 15 stars represented states, which was the custom for U.S. coins for a brief period, they they would have been made after Kentucky joined the Union in 1792, and before Tennessee joined in 1796.

  • Contains 2 oz. Troy of .999 Fine Silver
  • Obverse:Bust of Washington facing right, with his name surrounding him.
  • Reverse: The all-seeing eye of God with rays and 15 stars emanating from the center (similar to the reverse of the Nova Constellation Patterns and Coppers). The legend SUCCESS TO THE UNITED STATES encircles the design.
